Hopefully many of you fly it all year round, also. When I visit the family plot this weekend, I will see 4 new flags waving brightly. Two were WW1 Vets, (my father and uncle) Al a WW11 Vet, and my cousin a Korean Vet.

They all fought and served their country bravely and all served over seas.

I am proud of them as I am for all who have served their country in war and peace.

But this weekend is not only for Veterans, it is also a remembrance of all our families who have gone before us. So please visit a cemetery this weekend, be it your kin or not and remember it was those who lived before us, who have paved the paths for us today.

And yes let's remember the living Veterans and their families also, who sacrificed so we can be free and still travel the paths laid, before us. Please drive safe, have fun with your family and friends and be thankful for all your blessings.

And remember those that are not here with us, this Memorial weekend.
