SPECIAL SIGNATURE PROJECT

Below is a copy of a Mendon petition signed by John Thomson in 1670 and over it is a copy of Thomson's signature as it appears on the 1651 document. The 1670 signature is between the white line and the 1651 signature. What do you think? Are they made by the same individual?

Note the "figure 8" J formation and the shape of the h.

Sorry the 1670 petition is somewhat blurry. If it's the same...it proves our case about John of Thomson's Island being the same as John our ancestor from Mendon.
